Sea/Beach Fishing
COD FISHING GONE MAD: Cod are being caught in good numbers and are very good quality fish.  ALDEBURGH is still the place to head for.  4 men are known to have come back form Dirty Wall with around 40 cog between them, up to 5-6 lb - very good fishing indeed.  The better fish seem to be at range, but still a chance closer in, with loads of little codling.  So use big baits and perhaps 4-5/0 hooks with lug and squid.

I am still getting lucky in the boat, fishing about two and a half miles off with cod to 11lb, also had my fist skate of the spring.

18/03/08 Chapel Barn Farm-- Myrtles Lake:
On the freshwater front, the very popular Chapel Barn Farm Lakes are fishing well. The Match Lake is maturing nicely with 25 pegs. Just a nice size for a Match.
